Ingredients :

  • ⁣1 can of Saba Flakes in Olive Oil (with oil)

  • 250g plain flour

  • 3 stalks spring onions, sliced

  • Fried onion, finely sliced

  • 2 tsp tumeric powder

  • 100ml water

  • 2 eggs

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for deep frying

 

To blend :

  • 2cm ginger

  • 80g shallots

  • 2 red chillies

  • 3 cloves garlic

 

Preparation:

  1. ⁣⁣Blend ginger, shallots, red chillies and garlic. Set aside

  2. Heat oil in a wok for deep frying.

  3. Mix all the blended ingredients with the rest of the ingredients and make it into a thick batter.

  4. Drop teaspoon of the batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown.⁣

  5. Drain off excess oil on a paper towel and serve with a chilli dip.
