A Walk Down SG Memory Lane

You may have seen the 6 winning designs at the supermarkets, but do you know what gave these designers their inspirations?

The "National Service Memory" designed by Lee Xin Li from the National University of Singapore based his design on the memories he had with the slides and sands in the playground when he was little. His “playground” then became Standard Obstacle Course” when he got enlisted into National service.

The "Street Hawker in 1960's" designed by Jannie Ng Mui Hong was inspired from memories of her childhood while her dad used to be a faithful and wonderful Wantan mee hawker during the kampong days. It is a way for Jannie to express the passion of good food shared by all Singaporeans.
